Kineton Green Primary School
Governing body
Welcome to your Board of Governors.
We are committed to the school values and ethos and believe our ‘5 Bees’ should guide us in everything we do.
It is our responsibility to question, challenge and support the Head Teacher and her staff to ensure your children have a fantastic learning experience in a safe and secure environment. We want every child to fulfil their potential and be fully prepared to continue their journey in education.
We also monitor the school budget to get best value and focus resources on the teaching environment.
The school plays a key role in our community and we welcome participation from our parents and carers and other local groups.
When full your Board draws on the skills of 12 governors with a wide range of experience in business, education and local government. We have up to 4 parent governors, 1 appointed by the Local Authority, 5 Co-opted governors and 2 members of staff. The full Board meets twice per term and delegates work to committees – Pay, Teaching and Learning and Management of Assets. Each class has a Link Governor who visits at least once a term and joins in a class activity so that the children get to know who the governors are.
We are always very pleased to hear from any Parent or Carer and we value your thoughts and suggestions. You can contact us in confidence either in the school, through the school office or via the governor email.
